ANFIELD TRIP — RULES & CONDITIONS 2009/2010
The Supporters Club will be giving away TWO trips to members based on the following rules:
(One of the trips is sponsored by “CHAMPION TOURS”)
Principles
1. Annual membership fees must be paid for in full by 30 November in the year in which the competition starts. Each year (season) will be a new competition.
2. The trip may not be transferred by an individual member and must be taken-up by the winner personally. Should the winner not be able to take the trip they should notify the General Management Committee at the draw.
3. A file containing the details of those who are eligible for the trip will be available throughout the year. The onus is on the members to check these during the year as NO queries will be handled on the night of the draw at the AGM.
4. The draw for the trip takes place annually in May at the Annual General Meeting.
5. Members, who qualify for the draw, DO NOT NEED to be present at the draw to claim their prize.
6. The trip means the winner will be provided with one economy airfare return ticket, two nights’ accommodation (to the value of 55 British Pounds per night) and one match ticket paid for by the Supporters Club or Champion Tours. Any costs over and above these three items are for the member’s own account. (This means additional accommodation, transfers and meals are for the winners’ expense).
7. The trip must be taken up before the end of the season following the draw or it will be forfeited.
8. If the winner is at the draw and forfeits the trip, then a re-draw will take place immediately at the Annual General Meeting, with the remaining names in the draw.
9. A member who qualifies in terms of the rules above may not be entered into the draw for three (3) consecutive seasons after having won the trip.
10. No member may win the draw more than twice.
General Draw Rules
• Members must attend at least one game at Grand Slam/Mandeville or any one of the social functions/general meetings to qualify for the draw. The onus is on the member to sign the attendance register. (Only signed attendance registers will be used and accepted).
• Meetings and Live Games to be attended run from the opening of the Official season in July/August to the Annual General Meeting, in May, in the year in which draw is made.
• The meeting in May (AGM) will count as part of the quota of meetings and social functions to be attended, for the year in question.
• Should a member attend a live LFC game, then they will be credited for it as a live game if they present their ticket stub to the membership coordinator.
Loyalty Draw Rules
• Members must attend and sign in for 2 of the 3 general meetings and at least 1 social function. The onus is on the member to sign the attendance register. (Only signed attendance registers will be used and accepted).
• Members must attend 60% (rounded-up) plus one of Live Games (day or night). The onus is on the member to sign the attendance register. Only signed attendance registers will be used and accepted.
• Meetings and Live Games to be attended run from the opening of the Official season in July/August to the Annual General Meeting, in May, in the year in which draw is made.
• The meeting in May (AGM) will count as part of the quota of meetings and social functions to be attended, for the year in question.
• Should a member attend a live LFC game, then they will be credited for it as a live game if they present their ticket stub to the membership coordinator.
• Members who qualify for the Loyalty Draw will also be eligible for the General Draw.
• Members, who qualify as per the rules above for the draw, will be entitled to one additional name in the draw for ten or more monthly raffle tickets purchased at R20 each. If a member is short of tickets, a maximum of three additional tickets may be purchased at the final meeting in May, in order to qualify for an extra name in the draw.
• Based on the above it is therefore possible for loyal members to have one name in the General Draw and two names in the Loyalty Draw.
Those not eligible for this year’s draw:
D. Tanne, E. Lechtman, and E. Smith (winners in 2006/2007 only eligible in 2010/2011)
M. Green and A. Stringer (winners in 2007/2008 only eligible in 2011/2012)
I. Parker and M. Manias (winners in 2008/2009. I. Parker is only eligible in 2012/2013)
