Good day new and old Supporters Club Members

This is the first comms of the new season and I'd like to welcome all new members to the Supporters Club that have joined in the last month or so.

The World Cup was a fantastic experience for many of us, and thankfully we're only a few weeks away from the new season. Let's hope for a better performance from our lads compared to last year.

The results of our Annual General Meeting in May will be formally published in the next week or so.

As many of you know, the untimely passing of our Communications Officer and Newsletter Editor Guy Prowse a day after the AGM made all other club matters low priority and we're going to be putting a lot of focus this coming season in honouring Guy's name and his contribution to the club and to Liverpool FC in general.

New Season Applications

Please note that the new application form is on the website and can be downloaded. Once completed, please send to the fax number on the form together with proof of payment.

Note that we will be giving away the new home shirt to one lucky member should you join/renew from now till October 15. The prize will be drawn at a match shortly after the deadline date.

A special request for you to all ensure that both email address and cellphone numbers are legible on your application forms.

Match Tickets

Information on how to procure match tickets through the club is available on the Website.

Not much has changed in the way in which tickets are allocated to branches however the prices of tickets have gone up.

Memorabilia

The club committee is in the process of implementing a new strategy to get memorabilia to members. Adidas South Africa has constantly let us down in terms of stock, and we've had some unfulfilled promises by retailers in
the last month or so.

Membership cards from last season

I still have a large stack of uncollected membership cards from last season. If you have not received your membership card from last season and would like it, please email me so that I may bring it to the next match at
Grand Slam (or post it to you if you're outside Gauteng).

Newsletter

With Guy's untimely passing, we have a considerable void to fill. I'm in the process of getting a few loyal members to volunteer writing a few articles for a monthly newsletter and would appreciate any additional help
from you.

I will be piecing the contributions together and we hope to have one or two celebrity writers for us if possible.

If you are at all interested in helping us contribute to a newsletter, please reply.
